Stenning & Associates worked with a State and Territory taskforce convened by the then National Skills Standards Council (NSSC) on drafting new standards for VET providers and regulators. This project built on the Standards Policy Framework developed by the NSSC following extensive consultation with stakeholders.
The new standards supported the shift to a new Australian Vocational Qualification System (AVQS). The AVQS involves a stronger focus on assuring the integrity of vocational qualifications and a shift to a more responsive, risk based regulatory model.
